Ciao, siamo due amici fotografi naturalisti italiani: Giuliano Gerra e Silvio Sommazzi.
Siamo dei fotografi dilettanti e il nostro lavoro quotidiano è purtroppo diversissimo dalla nostra passione, ma abbiamo l’enorme fortuna di poter utilizzare le nostre vacanze per fare dei viaggi in tutto il mondo. Durante questi viaggi spendiamo tutto il nostro tempo a godere della natura che ci circonda e a fotografarla. Soprattutto gli uccelli. Questo sito è stato ideato per mostrare una parte dell’incredibile varietà di uccelli di cui siamo stati testimoni. Tutti sono stati rigorosamente fotografati liberi in natura, nella stragrande maggioranza non usando né appostamenti né esche. Di solito semplicemente fotografiamo quello che vediamo intorno a noi. L’aspetto che più ci meraviglia e che ci preoccupa é che molte persone negli stessi posti non vedrebbero nulla. Il nostro sogno è che diventino sempre di più quelli che sono veramente capaci di guardare, altrimenti il nostro mondo sarà perduto. Non tutte le foto sono tecnicamente perfette, ma abbiamo deciso di privilegiare la documentazione più completa, piuttosto che l’estetica pura. Attualmente potete trovare in questo sito le immagini di 744 specie di uccelli. In ogni modo, per i veri appassionati di fotografia, abbiamo raccolto in un angolo particolare le foto che preferiamo. Hello, we are two italian friends, naturalist photographers: Giuliano Gerra e Silvio Sommazzi. We
are amateur
photographers and our
everyday jobs
are unfortunately
very different
from our
passion, but
we have the
enormous fortune
that we
can use
our holidays
to travel
round the
world. During these trips
we spend
every second
to enjoy
and photograph
the wilderness
surrounding us.
Mainly the
birds. This site has
been thought
to show
part of
the unbelievable
variety of
birds we
saw. All
of them have
been photographed
in the
wild, and
quite all
without blinds
nor baits.
Usually we
simply shot
what we
see. What
is for
us astonishing
and worrying,
is that
many people,
in the
same places,
would not be
able to
see anything. Our
dream is
that those
really able
to see
become more
and more;
on the
contrary our
world
will
be lost. Not
all the
photographs are
technically perfect,
but we have decided
to focus
on the
maximum documentation,
instead of
the photographic quality. Anyway, for those
who are
really enthusiasts
about photography,
we have
collected the
shots we
prefer
in
a separate file. All
